Armenia’s FM welcomes Czech Republic Parliament’s recognition of the Armenian Genocide
Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Wednesday issued a statement on the recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic. The statement released by the Press Service of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reads:
“Armenia welcomes the adoption of the resolution by the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic on recognizing and condemning the Armenian Genocide and other crimes against humanity.
The resolution adopted by the Chamber of Deputies together with the statements by President Miloš Zeman condemning the Armenian Genocide are the Czech Republic’s valuable contribution to the noble cause of prevention of genocides and crimes against humanity.”
