Armenian, Russian and Azerbaijani FMs agreed to continue the talks – Armenia’s MFA
At the initiative of the Russian side, Armenian, Russian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Edward Nalbandian, Sergey Lavrov and Elmar Mammadyarov held a working meeting in Moscow on 28 April.
As the Press Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) told Panorama.am, the sides continued discussing the issue of promoting the Karabakh peace talks at the meeting. The interlocutors highlighted the necessity to implement the agreements reached at Vienna and St. Petersburg summits held in April and June 2016.
The Armenian and Azerbaijani FMs expressed their gratitude to Russia’s Foreign Minister for his continuous efforts aimed at supporting the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The ministers agreed to continue the talks regarding all the issues touched upon at the meeting.
According to the source, following the trilateral meeting between the Russian, Azerbaijani and Armenian FMs, the ministers were joined by the OSCE Mink Group Co-Chairs –Ambassadors of Russia, U.S. and France, as well as the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office. The officials exchanged views on the Karabakh conflict settlement process.
