Criminal case launched into Karabakh army soldier’s killing
The Third Garrison Investigative Department of Armenia’s Investigative Committee has launched a criminal case into the killing of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Defense Army soldier Mher Arzumanyan by the Azerbaijani fire.
To note, at around 09:30 on April 28, as a result of the ceasefire violation by the Azerbaijani forces, Artsakh Defense Army soldier Mher Felix Arzumanyan (b. 1998) sustained a fatal gunshot wound in the chest at one of the military units located in the southern direction of the Artsakh Defense Army.
The Investigative Committee informs that the Third Garrison Investigative Department opened a criminal case over the committal of a murder on the basis of ethnic, racial or religious motives. Preliminary probe is underway.
