Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum declares May “Pinocchio month”
Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum has declared May 2016 as “Pinocchio month”. For 31 days, the museum will present Carlo Collodi’s wonderful work, discussing it and recreating the events around the fairy tale characters.
As Hovhannes Tumanyan Museum reports, the end of the educational year will become unforgettable for children. Meantime, this can mark the first beautiful step toward establishing an educational and cultural bridge between Armenia and Italy, namely Tuscany, Collodi’s native village.
The slogan of the project is “Sewing friendship”. The key purpose of the initiative is to promote the reading. In this one month the museum will organize competitions and flash mobs.
