Armenian woman among the injured in Aeroflot Moscow-Bangkok flight
At least 27 passengers were injured on an Aeroflot flight from Moscow to Bangkok on Monday, when the airplane hit an air pocket. 24 of the injured were Russian nationals, Russian media reports citing the Russian Embassy in Thailand.
The website of the Russian Embassy in Thailand has released the names of the injured. The list features the name of an Armenian woman identified as Tatyana Avetisyan (b. 1982).
Some of the injured are undergoing operations, while the others are being prepared for them. The reason behind the injures was that some of the passengers had not had their seatbelts fastened. The incident took place 40 minutes before landing in the Thai capital.
