People’s will to be decisive in NK conflict settlement, Iranian MFA spokesman says
Two factors play key roles in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh (NK) conflict – the time and the moods of the conflicting sides. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi noted the aforesaid at the press conference on Monday, referring to the question over Russia’s active involvement in the NK conflict settlement. Panorama.am reports citing Press TV.
In his words, such conflicts are not settled on the basis of only one factor.
“Many factors play important roles in the [Nagorno-Karabakh] conflict settlement. In the end, all of them must be brought together to find a solution to the conflict. Therefore, I think the opinion claiming that the conflict can be settled by one person or country is not right. The conflict settlement will be possible only in case of combining all the factors,” he added.
Bahram Qassemi underscored that one of the key factors of the NK conflict settlement is the people.
“The will of the people will be decisive in the settlement of this conflict,” he highlighted.
