Russian actor impressed with Parajanov museum, ready to spend days in front of certain exhibits
Actor at Georgian Shota Rustaveli Theatre Beso Zanguri who is visiting Armenia in the scope of Armmono 15th International Theater Festival of mono performances, expect warm reception from the Armenian audience. Zanguri gave a press conference on Tuesday, speaking of his “Psychosis 4:48” performance which he called “an interesting psychological drama.” “Peoples of the Caucasus share much in common in terms of their emotional perception. I hope the Armenian audience will like “Psychosis 4:48,”” the actor said.
The Georgian actor told it has been not the first time he visited Armenia, saying he knew much about the Armenian people, history and especially, the Armenian Genocide.
Honored Artist of Russia Dmitri Bozin from the Roman Vityukov Theatre, present at the press conference, told the reporters about his play “The Girl King”.
“This is the first time I am visiting Armenia and have managed to attend Parajanov Museum. I am quite impressed with it, since some paintings and collages can keep one for days,” the Russian actor said.
To remind, Yerevan is hosting the Armmono 15th International Theater Festival of Mono Performances from April 29 May 3. As the Ministry of Culture reports, this year the festival programme includes 28 performances from Armenia, Russia, France, Spain, Austria, Moldova, Ukraine, Poland, Georgia.
The festival includes a special programme dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Armenian Army, along with master classes.
