Mother See Etchmiadzin to donate an apartment to the family of quintuplets
Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin will donate a four-bedroom apartment to the family that of quintuplets on Wednesday, Priest Vahram Melikyan, the head of Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin information department told Panorama.am
“The Church consistently pays close attention to problems of large families, and apart from spiritual care, provides material assistance,” Priest Melikyan said.
He next informed that the decision was made after the Catholocos of All Armenian KareKin II learnt about the poor social and housing conditions of the family.
To remind, 23-year-old Lusine Poghosyan from Arshaluys village of Armenia’s Armavir region gave birth to five children on Wednesday at Yerevan Erebuni Medical Center, which was for the first time in Armenia. Born at 28 weeks, the quintuplets, four girls and a boy, rangeg in weight from 600 to 880 grams.
Currently doctors are struggling for the lives of the newborns, whose conditions are assessed as severe and critical.
