Ankara’s military-political activity in Baku poses threat to Moscow – Armenian defense minister
Turkey, which is member to NATO, is engaged in active military-political activities in Azerbaijan, posing certain threats to Russia, Armenian Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan told Interfax Agency during an interview.
“I understand that Russia and Turkey are living a positive period of developing a dialogue, however I would not overlook that serious danger,” the minister said, as quoted by the source.
Minister Sargsyan went on suggesting Turkey is playing destructive role in the NK settlement process, with its explicit and univocal support to Baku, including political and supply of weapons and technology, that changes the situation in the regions.
“That creates serous dangers, including at the Russia’s southern flank, as it happens near Dagestan border,” Sargsyan noted.
