43 vocalists from 13 countries to participate in the Khachaturian Competition
The results of the preliminary selection of the 13th Khachaturian International Competition have been summed up. As the official website of the competition reports, according to the decision of the jury and given the high professional level and the equal points of a large number of participants, 43 participants will be admitted to the 1st round (instead of the stipulated 40).
43 participants represent 13 countries (USA, UK, Germany, France, Cyprus, Mexico, South Africa, Latvia, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Artsakh).
To remind, the 13th Aram Khachaturian International Competition will be held in Yerevan from June 6 to 14, 2017. Constantine Orbelyan is appointed Chairman of the Jury. The competition is aimed at identifying talented young musicians in "Vocal" specialty. The Aram Khachaturian International Competition is a member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions.
