French-Armenian filmmaker unveils plans to shoot a film in Artsakh
French-Armenian filmmaker Robert Qeshihsyan, whose predecessors had survived the Armenia Genocide, visited today the Artsakh State University to share his life story, professional career and plans. Artsakhpress agency reported. during the visit the film “Aram” of joint production of France and the USA Aram was premiered telling about a family tragedy of an Armenia boy. The film was produced in 2002.
In an interview with the agency, the filmmaker noted that the film had been screened in France, Germany, the US, Canada, Mexico, and elsewhere.
“I am on a get-to-know visit to Artsakh. I wished to visit Artsakh and get familiarized with this country and its people after learning about the April war last year. We held protest demonstration in France trying to somehow help our compatriots. I feel great myself in Artsakh, and am quite impressed. I also saw the warm and kind treatment of the people. I am happy to see literate young people here. I plan to shoot a new film in Artsakh,” Keshihshyna told.
