Hraparak Daily: Gagik Khachatryan’s sons engaged in church building in Yeghvard
Hraparak Daily writes that sons of the former Minister of Finance and the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia Gagik Khachatryan are building a church in Yeghvard town, in front of the Memorial to the Great Patriotic War.
The paper has asked the Primate of Kotayk Diocese, Bishop Arakel Karamyan, to comment on the course of construction works and the name of the new church. “At present, the works are in the final stage, the area is improved. The church opening is scheduled for the end of June, yet I can’t tell the exact day. The church is constructed with the support of Gagik Khachatryan’s sons – Artyom and Gurgen - and will be named St. Sargis,” Bishop Karamyan told the paper.
The source reminds that Yeghvard town of Kotayk region with a population of 11,672
