Concert to be held at Komitas Music Hall dedicated to 85th anniversary of Composers Union
The Art Cinema State Ensemble of Soloists is set to hold a concert at Komitas Chamber Music House on May 13. As the Composers Union of Armenia told Panorama.am, the concert titled “Favourite Melodies from Hayfilm” is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the establishment of the Union.
The concert program features the compositions of K. Orbelyan, A. Ayvazyan, R. Amirkhanyan, G. Armenyan, A. Babajanian, T. Mansurian, Gh. Saryan and the others.
During its 7 years of musical activity, Art Cinema’s repertoire has featured over 150 Armenian and foreign music compositions, under the lead of Ashot Khoetsyan, the Artistic Director and I violin. The ensemble has held numerous concert tours both in Armenia and abroad, namely in Germany, Lebanon and Russia. Hayk Vardanyan (violin), Levon Araqelyan (cello) and Karen Safaryan (piano) are also Art Cinema’s performers.
