The working group operating within the Ombudsman’s Office has studied over 73 reports on alleged electoral fraud published by the media outlets and on the social networks. The reports are mainly related to accumulations in polling stations and campaign headquarters, failure of live streaming of the voting, the equipment of the polling stations and the voting procedure.
“The reports with evident elements of electoral offences have been singled out to be submitted to the body in charge of criminal prosecution.
The reports on the alleged obstacles to the work of journalists and observers are especially under the spotlight of the Ombudsman’s Office,” the statement of the Human Rights Defender’s Office reads.
