Armenian Embassy to Germany hosts reception dedicated to 25th anniversary of Shushi liberation
On May 13, on behalf of the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Germany and the Permanent Representative of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (Artsakh/NKR), an official reception was held at the Armenian Embassy to Germany dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the liberation of Shushi.
As the Press Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Panorama.am, Ashot Smbatyan, RA Ambassador to Germany delivered a welcome speech, highlighting the historical significance of the liberation of Shushi. He also reflected on strengthening Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity and the active work of the Armenian community in Germany aimed at maintaining the Armenian identity, developing and strengthening Armenia and Artsakh.
Harutyun Grigoryan, NKR Permanent Representative to Germany, also delivered a speech, briefing on Shushi’s history.
Two representatives of the Armenian community in Germany – A. Balayan and M. Oganesyan – were awarded with diplomas of the RA Ministry of Diaspora.
