Weather update: Rain, thunderstorms expected across Armenia for coming days
Rain and thunderstorms with probability of hail in certain areas are expected on May 18 and 22 mainly in northern regions of Armenia, in the evening hours of May 19, as well as on 20 and 21 May in most regions of the country at times.
The wind is from the south-west with the velocity of 3-8 m/s, with intensification up to 15-20 m/s expected during thunderstorms.
The air temperature will rise by 2-3 °C on 18-19 May, dropping by 4-5 °C in the afternoon of 20-21 May.
In Yerevan, thunderstorms accompanied by scattered showers in certain areas are forecast for the evening hours of May 18 and 22. Rain and thunderstorms with intensified wind up to 15-18 m/s are expected at times in the evening of May 19, as well as on May 20 and 21.
