Charles Aznavour to attend concert in his honor in Yerevan, Armenia
The Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra is set to hold a concert entitled “Pour Toi, Aznavour” at National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Al. Spendiaryan on 1-2 June. As Panorama.am was informed from Armenia’s Ministry of Culture, under the direction of conductor Eduard Topchjan, famous Armenian opera and pop singers will perform the favorite and popular songs of Charles Aznavour.
Famous French-Armenian chanson singer Charles Aznavour will also attend the concert in his honor on 1 June.
To note, Aznavour will also attend the premiere of “La Boheme” Ballet by Roudolf Kharatian on May 29 (music by Charles Aznavour).
Today Charles Aznavour celebrates his 93rd birthday anniversary.
