Henrikh Mkhitaryan dedicates Europa League win to all Armenians
“So so so so happy with our win tonight! I dedicate this trophy to my family, to Manchester and to all Armenians,” Manchester United midfielder and Armenian National Football Team captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan noted on Facebook after his team secured a victory against Ajax and won the UEFA Europa League.
To note, Armenian footballer Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored a goal as Manchester United beat Ajax 2-0 to win the Europe League final. He is the first Armenian footballer to take part in the finals of the Europa League. Mkhitaryan came to the pitch carrying the Armenian flag.
