Armenia’s Anahit Adamyan triumphs at New Wave Junior 2017
Armenian’s Anahit Adamyan has won the first prize at New Wave Junior 2017, an international contest for young performers of popular music founded in 2002 by the Russian composer Igor Krutoy and Latvian pianist and composer Raimonds Pauls.
The final held on Thursday in Crimea featured performers from 11 countries with Anahit Adamyan of Armenia and Arina Petrova of Russia declared as winners.
To note, 13-year-old Anahit and Mary Vardanyan represented the country at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with their song “Different.”
