Altibox Norway Chess tournament kicks off in Stavanger, Norway
On Monday, June 5, the fifth edition of the Altibox Norway Chess super tournament takes off in Stavanger, Norway. 10 top chess players are taking part in the tournament – Levon Aronian, Magnus Carlsen, Wesly So, Vladimir Kramnik, Fabiano Caruana, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Viswanathan Anand, Hikaru Nakamura, Sergey Karjakin and Anish Giri.
As Panorama.am was informed from the Chess Federation of Armenia, Norway Chess tournament starts Monday evening with the traditional blitz tournament to determine the pairing numbers. Then, nine rounds will be played between 6 and 16 June, with rest days on 9 and 13 June.
