Armenian parliament speaker extends condolences to Iranian counterpart on Tehran attacks
Ara Babloyan, Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly (NA), sent a condolence letter to the Speaker of the Majlis of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali Ardeshir Larijani, the NA Press Service reports. The condolence message runs as follows:
“Honorable colleague,
I learnt with deep pain about the terrorism occurred in the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran and near Imam Khomeini’s Mausoleum, which inflicted civilian casualties.
Strictly condemning these barbaric actions, on behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and personally me, we offer our deepest condolences and support to you, the victims’ families and relatives, the friendly people of Iran, wishing them steadfastness and patience, and quick recovery to the injured.
Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
