"Art Fest" 2017 International Youth Festival to kick off in Yerevan on June 8
"Art Fest" 2017 International Youth Festival titled “Under One Roof” is set to be held on 8-19 June in Yerevan, Armenia with the initiative of the Union of Young Creators NGO in cooperation with the Student Theatre of Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography (YSITC) and with the support of Armenia’s Ministry of Culture.
As Panorama.am was informed from the Ministry of Culture, the opening of the festival is scheduled on June 8, at 18:00 at Student Theatre of YSITC, with the closing ceremony to be held at State Russian Drama Theater after Konstantin Stanislavski on June 19, at 18:00.
"Art Fest" youth festival is of competitive nature. All the creative groups and individuals aged 16-30 can take part in the festival. The festival is aimed at stimulating the youth creative atmosphere, expanding the framework of professional cooperation, refining the professional skills of young artists as a result of experience exchange, revealing new names and the creative achievements of the year.
Appreciating the importance of young artist’s power and the need of self-presenting, “Art fest” gathers youngsters in spheres such as theatrical arts, cinematography, music, fine arts, clothing design, painting, photography, graphics and sculpture as well as literature.
A total of 506 young artists are taking part in the festival this year.
