Artsakh President awards lecturers of Artsakh State University, hands in diplomas, awards to students
On 8 June a solemn ceremony of decorating a group of lecturers of the Artsakh State University with state awards and handing in diplomas and awards to students having graduated from the university with honor, took place at the residence of the Artsakh Republic President.
As the Central Information Department of the Artsakh President’s Office reports, in his speech, President Sahakyan underlined that in Artsakh special attention is paid to the sphere of education and science, adding that upbringing educated and modern youth is among the most important tasks set by the state and numerous projects are being realized in this direction, which will be of a continuous nature.
“Be confident, your education will help you become good professionals and have a worthy contribution to the surrounding reality," President Sahakyan noted in his address to the graduates.
National Assembly chairman Ashot Ghulyan and other officials took part in the event.
