President Sargsyan attended the Armenian pavilion of Astana Expo-2017 international exhibition
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan attended today the Armenian pavilion opened on the margins of the international specialized exhibition Astana Expo-2017, which is held under the motto of “Energy of the Future.”
As the press department at the President’s Office reported, the Armenian pavilion featured not only Armenia’s latest developments of energy saving technologies and in the field of alternative energy, but also the country’s opportunities in the culture, economic, tourism, and investment spheres.
Armenia’s General Commissioner for the Astana Expo-2017, Minister of Economic Development and Investment Suren Karayan, Armenia’s national operator at the Expo, Director at the Renewable Resources and Energy Efficiency Fund Armen Melkikyna, and Tourism Director at Development Foundation of Armenia Ara Khzmalyan presented the President the works carried out in the Armenian pavilion, the items on display and the planned works in the comings three months. As reported, national days of participating states are planned to be held in the sidelines of the Expo to last till September 10.
The release added the Armenian delegation headed by the President concluded its visit to Kazakhstan today and returned to Yerevan.
