Armenian military units have no link to Aghdam fire – Artsakh Defense Army
The reports periodically replicated by Azerbaijani media outlets, alleging the Armenian forces have committed arsons of the lands in the vicinity of Bash Qarvend, Qengerli, and Bayramlar settlements of the Aghdam region do not correspond to reality and are simple-minded propaganda tricks to distract own and international community’s attention, the Artsakh Defense Ministry said in a release issued on Monday.
Responding to the Azerbaijani media claims, the source added the harvesting season is over in Azerbaijan, and after harvesting their crops, the Azerbaijanis themselves set fire to their cultivated lands as a result of which the fire rapidly spreads in the neutral zone of the Artsakh-Azerbaijani Line of Contact.
