Armenia’s PM meets with Director General of Russian Rosatom Corporation
At today’s meeting with Alexey Likhachev, Director General of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation in Russia, Prime Minister (PM) of Armenia Karen Karapetyan underscored the significance of the cooperation between Armenia and Russia in the energy sector, meantime expressing satisfaction with the level of the bilateral cooperation.
As Panorama.am was informed from the Information and Public Relations Department of the Armenian Government, the interlocutors touched upon the process of the work aimed at extending the operation of the second energy bloc of Armenia’s Nuclear Power Plant.
Alexey Likhachev in his turn noted that the works are carried out in line with the schedule, adding that this is one of the most important projects implemented within the Armenian-Russian energy cooperation. Afterwards Director General of Rosatom briefed Armenia’s PM on the interim results of the work and referred to the future activities.
