Yerevan hosts Armenian-Tajik business forum
“The Armenian Government seeks to cooperate with investors from Tajikistan and to demonstrate individual approach to each of them,” Vice Prime Minister of Armenia Vache Gabrielyan noted in his opening speech at Armenia-Tajikistan business forum hosted today by Yerevan, Armenia.
“The two countries have a good opportunity to cooperate in such spheres as information technologies, pharmacy, jewelry, as well as in the field of agriculture. Law on private investment is enacted in our country,” Mr. Gabrielyan said.
In the official’s words, this forum will enable many businesses to discover Armenia in terms of its economic cooperation potential.
Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Nematullo Khikmatullozoda in his turn noted that the forum gives a good chance to develop the great potential of the two countries.
“We seek to boost ties between the two countries. We can produce quality products to be exported to European and Asian markets,” the minister underscored, adding that all the possible efforts will be made to reach the target.
To note, the forum has brought together representatives of 100 Armenian and 36 Tajik companies, with B2B meetings scheduled for business representatives in such branches as textile industry, jewelry, construction materials production, agricultural processing, tourism and banking.
