Armenian tennis team taking part in Fed Cup
The Armenian tennis team is taking part in the 2017 Fed Cup Europe/Africa Zone, which kicked off today in Chișinău, Moldova, Gevorg Karamanukyan, CEO of the Armenian Tennis Federation, told the press service of the Armenian National Olympic Committee.
In the opening competition, the Armenian team lost a match against Malta.
Armenia’s tennis team is represented in Group A together with Malta and Greece. Our team includes Maria Davtyan, Anna Movsisyan and Gabriella Hakobyan. Gayane Movsisyan is the captain of the Armenian team.
The tennis tournament will run until June 17.
