Azerbaijani forces continue making ceasefire violations from firearms – Artsakh Defense Army spox
The Azerbaijani forces continue violating the ceasefire from firearms, Senor Hasratyan, Spokesperson of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR) Defense Army, told Panorama.am, commenting on the situation on the frontline at night.
The Artsakh official did not provide other details on whether the shots were fired at night or today in the morning.
To note, on June 16, at around 18:05, the Azerbaijani forces broke the ceasefire regime across Karabakh-Azerbaijan Line of Contact, applying rocket-propelled antitank grenade launchers in the direction of one of the military posts, as a result of which 3 Karabakh Defense Army servicemen – Arayik Matinyan (b. 1997), Vigen Petrosyan (b. 1997) and Vardan Sargsyan (b. 1997) were fatally wounded.
Probe is underway to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
