One killed, nine injured after the bus from Yerevan collides with a truck in Russia’s Tula region
A commercial bus en route from Yerevan to Nizhniy Novgorod collided with a truck on Sunday afternoon in Russia’s Tula region. According to preliminary data, the accident took away the live of one person and left another 9 passengers injured with Armenians among them, the press service of Armenia’s Ministry of Emergence Situations (MES) reported.
According to the source, the accident occurred at the 133rd kilometer of Moscow –Yerevan highway section of the M4 federal road at around 14:13 Yerevan Time on Sunday, involving Kamaz truck and a passenger mini bus with 20 passengers on board. The representative of Armenian Embassy [to Russia] visited the site of the accident and reported that the six injured passengers were admitted to the district hospitals of Stupino, while the three others - to Tula hospital.
The ministry said, the killed passenger is identified as the citizen of Russia, Nasirov Otar, born in 1961.
According to the source, Armenians Hrayr Gyurjyan, Svetlana Kaldaryan and Tina Musouan were discharged from hospital after receiving medical aid, while the condition of Valeria Stepanyan, Norayr Galstyan and Romik Nikoghosyan remains of moderate severity.
Armenia’s Ministry of Transport, Communication, Information Technologies told Panorama.am the bus was serviced by Yerevan-based firm “Kochar Tour Service” that operated irregular travels to Russia via “Iveco” busses.
