Egyptian Air Cairo operates Hurghada-Yerevan first regular flight
The first airplane of Egyptian Air Cairo airline landed at Armenia’s Zvartnots International Airport today early in the morning, the General Department of Civil Aviation (GDCA) adjunct to the Armenian Government told Panorama.am.
Culture and political figures, as well as diplomats representing the Armenian community of Cairo were among the first passengers aboard the first plane en route from Hurghada to Yerevan.
As the GDCA’s press service reports, the regular flights operated by Air Cairo airline will boost passenger flow and will contribute to the economic development, meantime promoting the tourism sphere.
Armenia’s General Department of Civil Aviation has granted permission to the airline to carry out flights on Hurghada-Yerevan-Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh-Yerevan-Sharm El Sheikh routes. Flights will be operated twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
