Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement issue always on Russian Foreign Ministry’s agenda – spox
“The statement of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs released following their regional visit also reflects Russia’s stance. It is available on relevant websites to get acquainted with,” Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a weekly briefing on Thursday, commenting on Azerbaijani reporter’s question over Russia’s stance on the latest statement released by the OSCE MG Co-Chairs.
“I repeat myself that it completely reflects Russia’s stance on the issue,” Zakharova noted.
The spokesperson also added that the recent meeting between the Russian and French Foreign Ministers did not touch upon issues over the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement.
In response to the Azeri reporter’s question how the Russian side assesses the situation on the Karabakh-Azerbaijan Line of Contact given the recent tension, Zakharova said: “NK conflict settlement issue is always on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s agenda.”
