Samvel Gasparyan conquers bronze at 2017 Junior World Championships
Armenia’s men’s weightlifting team member in the 105kg weight class Samvel Gasparyan conquered a bronze medal at the 2017 IWF Junior World Championships in Tokyo with the double-event of 365kg.
National Olympic Committee of Armenia reports, Samvel Gasparyan also grabbed a little bronze in the snatch (205kg) and came the 6th in the clean and jerk (160kg).
Iranian Reza Beiralvand claimed the title of the world champion with the double event of 369kg.
Tomorrow, on the final day of the tournament Armenia’s next representatives Simon Martirosyan (+105kg) and Arpine Dalalyan (+90kg) will come out, the Committee said.
