Fire breaks out at open air café of Old Erivan restaurant
An emergency call was received today that a massive fire broke out at Northern Avenue 2 in Yerevan, where Old Erivan restaurant operates. As the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reports, three fire brigades and the emergency response groups of the National Crisis Management Center left for the scene. The fire was isolated at 08:57and extinguished at 09:02.
As revealed, the café on the seventh ground of the building was burnt down (around 20 sq. meters) along with the movables, the exterior of the elevator, while two TV sets and the stretched ceiling got smoked.
There were no casualties. It's not yet known what caused the blaze as an investigation will be carried out.
