‘We should not have excessive expectations from Russia’ – deputy FM
“We should first of all count on us regarding the security matters,” Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan told the reporters at Armenia’s National Assembly on Thursday, commenting on the issue that Russia has delivered a new batch of arms to Azerbaijan
Mr. Kocharyan underscored that Armenia should not have excessive expectations from Russia.
“Russia is certainly our ally, but we should not have excessive expectations. This is the reality. Our stance on the issue is very clear and plain. This has been repeatedly voiced, including at the highest-level meetings. However, this is the fact, on the basis of which we should build our relations with Russia and other allies,” the Armenian official detailed.
