New greenhouses exploited in Khachardzan village of Tavush province
The Hayastan All-Armenian Fund continues the construction of greenhouses Armenia’s Tavush province. As the release issued by the Fund reads, over the last two years four greenhouses were built with the financial support of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund’s Australian affiliate, another two – with the support of Argentine-Armenian Kalchian, Avagian and Terzian families.
The opening ceremony of the two greenhouses of the Australian affiliate was attended by Hayk Lepetchean and other representatives of the Fund.
Each of the constructed greenhouses along with seeds were given to one family, who are set to grow different vegetables. Metal framed greenhouses, each measuring 100 square meters and covered with high-quality polycarbonate will work with drip irrigation.
the source reminds that 400 residents living today in Khachardzan village are the displaced residents of Azerbaijani Ghazakh area, fleeing their houses in 1988.
Over the past several years, the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund has constructed the medical point in the village, sport complex and the festival hall. Additionally, the village school was renovated and granted a bus.
