FM Nalbandian: It is impossible to reach any agreement without participation of Karabakh
It is impossible to reach any agreement and make a decision over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement without the participation of Karabakh itself, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said, reflecting on the question of Tsarukyan faction MP Ararat Zurabyan at today’s debates on the annual report on “2016 State Budget Execution”.
In the minister’s words, the above-mentioned is stated in all the negotiation documents maintained in the OSCE headquarters in Vienna.
“One day all those documents will be released and you will see that all of them note that the Nagorno-Karabakh representatives must take part in developing the peace agreement and talks. This is clearly fixed and no agreement will be signed without it. It is impossible to reach any agreement or make a decision without Artsakh,” Mr. Nalbandian said.
The minister also did not rule out an upcoming meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov. “A meeting between the foreign ministers may take place in July,” he added.
