Anna Melikyan's “About Love” wins special award at Moscow Int’l Film Festival
Chinese director Liang Qiao has been awarded with the top prize at Moscow International Film Festival 2017 for his film “Crested Ibis”. Turkish Fikret Reyhan was awarded as the best director for his film “Yellow Heat”.
Elsewhere, Verena Altenbergerlead won best actress for her turn in “Die Beste Aller Welter” (The Best of All Worlds) and Son Hyun-Ju was awarded as the best actor. Norwegian film “Ambulanse” (Ambulance) won the Best Short Film prize, with “The Paris Opera” by director Jean-Stéphane Bron named as the Best Documentary.
As TVC.ru told Panorama.am, this year a special award – Creating Moscow Image in Cinematography – was awarded for the first time within the Moscow Film Festival. Russian-Armenian filmmaker Anna Melikyan’s “About Love” was among the awardees of the mentioned prize.
