Azerbaijan is solely responsible for the casualties on both sides of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border and the Karabakh-Azerbaijani Line of Contact, Deputy Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Eduard Sharmazanov stated at a meeting with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Lukáš Parízek and the head of Armenia –Slovakia friendship group Dušan Tittel.

Sharmazanov added Turkey, in turn, escalate tensions in the region through keeping the border closed with Armenia and encouraging Azerbaijani terrorist activities.

As the press service at the Parliament reported, the interlocutors discussed the fight against terrorist: “We should joint out efforts to stem terrorist, xenophobia as well as attempts of solving conflicts through military means,” Sharmazanov stressed.

In the course of the meeting the parties also discussed the he Armenian-Slovak inter-parliamentary cooperation and the need of expansion of the political dialogue between the two countries.
