No escalation observed at Karabakh Line of Contact, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces says
“No escalation is observed at Karabakh Line of Contact as the situations on the frontline remains calm,” Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Movses Hakobyan told reporters at the Central Military Commissariat on Saturday.
In Lieutenant-General Hakobyan’s words, no escalation has occurred over the past year that would disturb the country’s military leadership.
“The adversary periodically applies artillery at the Line of Contact which is certainly of great concern, yet the adversary had no opportunity to launch an active action over the past year,” added Hakobyan.
