Kremlin says Putin-Trump meeting agreed for July 7 in Hamburg
A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump will take place on the sidelines of a G-20 summit in Hamburg on July 7, Russian news agencies quoted Kremlin foreign policy aide Yuri Ushakov as saying on Tuesday.
"(It's been) agreed for the seventh," RIA news agency quoted him as saying.
Ushakov said earlier that crises in Syria and Ukraine are set to be discussed, adding that Moscow is ready to discuss all the regional problems and the disarmament issue, Sputnik agency reported.
Last Thursday, US National Security Adviser Herbert Raymond McMaster said at a press briefing that Trump and Putin would meet for the first time on the sidelines of the G20 summit.
