Armenia’s MES warns against direct sun exposure on July 11 amid high ultraviolet radiation
The index of ultraviolet rays is predicted to reach 7 on July 11, thus it’s recommended to avoid direct sun exposure from 11:00 to 15:00, Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reported on Monday in its daily weather forecast.
According to the source, no precipitation is predicted in the territory of Armenia on July 11-12. In the evening of July 13-14 in most regions, on 15 in northern parts scattered showers with thunderstorms are predicted, with the possibility of hail in separate places.
The southwest wind speed is 3-8 m/s. During thunderstorms, the wind speed will exceed up to 15-20 m/s.
The air temperature will not change significantly.
In Yerevan, Armenia’s capital, no precipitations are forecast for July 11-12 and 15. In the evening of July 13-14 in separate places, short rain with thunderstorm is predicted. During thunderstorms, the wind speed will exceed up to 15-18 m/s.
