Chess: Levon Aronian draws another game at Geneva FIDE Grand Prix
At Round 5 of the third tournament of 2017 FIDE World Chess Grand Prix taking place in Geneva, Switzerland, Armenian GM Levon Aronian drew his game against Peter Svidler (Russia), the Armenian National Olympic Committee told Panorama.am.
The source informs that this was Aronian’s third draw in a row.
After five rounds, Alexander Grischuk (Russia) and Teymur Rajabov (Azerbaijan) are leading the table with 3.5 points apiece. Armenian GM Levon Aronian shares the 3-6 positions with 3 points.
Levon Aronian is set to compete with Pentala Harikrishna (India) with white pieces on July 12.
