“Lake Sevan 2017” International Chess Tournament kicks off in Armenia
The annual "Lake Sevan" International Chess Tournament started today in Armenia. As the National Olympic Committee reports, the opening ceremony took place on Thursday, while the first round will be played on July 14.
This year the participants of the tournament are GM Bassem Amin /Egypt/, GM Daniil Dubov /Russia/, GM Igor Kovalenko /Latvia/, GM Martyn Kravtsiv /Ukraine/, GM Dariusz Swiercz /Poland/, GM Tamir Nabaty /Israel/, GM Samvel Ter-Sahakyan, GM Hovhannes Gabuzyan, IM Manuel Petrosyan.
