Indian-American writer Abie Alexander impressed by the Armenian readership
The presentation of the book titled “The Migrant and the Maverick" by the contemporary Indian-American writer Abie Alexander was held on Friday, at Bureaucrat Cafe and Bookstore in Yerevan, Armenia. In an interview with Panorama.am, the writer informed that he has written this book within 11 months. “The Migrant and the Maverick" is Abie Alexander’s sixth book.
“This book, like the previous one – “For the Love of Armine” – has close ties to Armenia. I have numerous friends in Armenia, who have organized the presentation of this book,” he noted.
Meantime, the writer hopes to publish another book with Armenian motives. He hopes to return to Armenia as a US Peace Corps volunteer for two years of volunteer service, which would provide him an opportunity of a deeper insight into daily struggles of contemporary Armenia.
At the end, Abie Alexander highlighted that he is impressed by the passion of Armenian readership.
