Converse Bank’s team the most active participant in the EBRD’s trade finance e-learning program
Converse Bank awarded its employees who successfully completed the “Introduction to Trade Finance” e-Learning module made available by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Bank reported in a released statement.
Due to the unprecedented number of participants and outstanding achievements, Converse Bank’s team was awarded with the EBRD’s Trade Facilitation Programme Academic Excellence Award in the frames of "Belarus: Trade Finance 2017"conference held on March 17 in Minsk, Belarus.
The source reminds that the EBRD is one of Converse Bank’s most important partners. The cooperation covers trade finance facilities, corporate/SME/MSME lending and training initiatives.
Partnership between Converse Bank and the EBRD goes back to 2008 and has recorded steady development all through the years passing. Since 2009 Converse Bank has been a member of the EBRD’s Trade Facilitation Programme. In 2016 the Bank won the EBRD’s Deal of the Year – Social Impact Award and in 2017 – the Trade Facilitation Programme Academic Excellence Award.
