Iran wishes to become more involved in NK settlement process, Ehsan Houshmand says
We hope much the Karabakh conflict will be solved peacefully and through a dialogue, Iranian expert in regional affairs Ehsan Houshmand told a press conference on Friday in Yerevan.
In his words, Iran wishes to have greater involvement in the Nagorno Karabakh settlement process for preventing the possibility of war resumption among other things during crisis situations.
“The military solution of the conflict is not in the interest of the peoples of the region. We hope that the regional conflict will find its just, peaceful and reasonable solution due to the sober policy of the regional leaders,” the Iranian expert noted, adding Iran does not welcome and will seek to prevent any interference by the outside forces into the regional conflict.
