Armenian athletes set for action in four more sports at EYOF Győr 2017
Today marks the second competition day of the 14th European Youth Olympic Summer Festival (EYOF), talking place in Győr, Hungary, with the Armenian athletes set for action in four more sports.
As the National Olympic Committee of Armenia reports, Armenian swimmer Artur Barseghyan will compete at 50m freestyle, while Varsenik Manucharyan – in the 100m freestyle. Runner David Sargsyan will perform at 400m race. Cyclists Amu Asubov, Hovhannes Yeranosyan and Henrik Yeranosyan are due to compete in 10km individual race discipline. Gymnast Zhora Smbatyan will enter into struggle in the qualification round of Triathlon discipline. From the Armenian judo team, only Arsen Avedisyan (55 kg) is set to enter into competition.
Today, tennis players Yuri Martirosyan and Evelina Martirosyan will also start their performances today.
Armenia is represented in six sports at the EYOF Győr 2017.
