Israel always ready to sell arms to any state, including Armenia – deputy FM
Israel is always ready to sell arms to any country, including Armenia, Shavarsh Kocharyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, said on Thursday, commenting on the issue of the Israeli arms supplies to Azerbaijan.
“It [the sale volumes] already depends on the price proposals and a range of other issues,” Mr. Kocharyan told the reporters following today’s Cabinet meeting.
Commenting on the visit of Israeli Minister of Regional Cooperation Tzachi Hanegbi to Armenia, Mr. Kocharyan noted that relevant agreements have been signed, adding that the two states marked not only the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations yesterday, but also the Israeli national holiday.
“The Armenian and Israeli peoples share a lot of common features. There are certainly complicated issues as well. Thus it is highly important to establish a dialogue to prevent them from distancing from each other, with real steps underway in that direction,” he added.
