Armenian swimmer Artur Barseghyan finishes 6th at EYOF 2017
Armenian swimmer Artur Barseghyan took the 6th place at the 14th European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF), taking place in Győr, Hungary. As the Armenian National Olympic Committee told Panorama.am, the Armenian athlete registered a 23.71 sec result in the 50m freestyle event.
Armenian judoka Artyom Ghalachyan (60 kg) made it through to the second round of the relief bout, where he was defeated by Czech Jan Svoboda.
In the 66kg weigh class, another Armenian judoka Robert Torosyan lost the bout against his Latvian opponent in the 1/8 finals and was left out of the competition.
Armenian gymnast Anahit Asaduryan also failed to overcome the qualification round of Triathlon discipline.
